The Village of Wolverine Lake is a residential community built around a
265 acre, all-sports lake. This 1.69 square mile village is
located 29 miles from Detroit, 25 miles from Detroit Metro
Airport, and only 8 miles from the Oakland International
Airport. Some of the subdivision parks have swimming beaches
and boat launch facilities so residents can fully enjoy the
lake. There is also a Department of Natural Resources (DNR)
public access site located off Glengary Road. Wolverine Lake
Village is serviced by the Walled Lake school system and
Commerce Township Fire Department. The village maintains its
